| Images of Grafton Street the popular shopping district in Dublin city & the famous Bewleys cafe. A meeting place for generations of Dubliners since 1927, the Cafe re-opened on May 30th 2005 under new management. Both the Grafton Street and older Westmoreland Street Bewleys shops had been closed since December 2004, following several years of poor trading. Local politicians & Dublin city councillors had expressed concern at preserving an important part of the city's social heritage. |
