St. Annœs Church, Dublin City Ireland


Entrance pillars at St. Ann's Church Dawson Street Saint Ann's Church is located in Dawson Street, which adjoins & runs parallel with Grafton Street, close to Trinity College, Leinster House & the city center.
Designed by Isaac Wells, the church was founded in 1707 during the reign of Queen Anne, the Romanesque facade designed by Sir Thomas N. Deane was added in 1868.

During the 17th century, members of the Royal family, Crown officials, & local gentry were regular attendees. Bram Stoker, Dublin-born author of the Gothic novel Dracula - published in 1897, married the following year in St Ann's church.
