Christchurch medieval cathedral ( The Cathedral of the Holy Trinity ), is a Church of Ireland cathedral located close to Dublin city centre.
Ancient manuscripts indicate that Sitriuc, the Norse King of Dublin, founded the original Viking church on the Christchurch Cathedral site c1030.
It was rebuilt in the 12th century & extensive renovations were also carried out during the late 19th century.
