National Concert Hall, Earlsfort Terrace

Ireland's National Concert Hall is located on Earlsfort Terrace - near Stephens Green Dublin. Originally constructed as an Exhibition Hall building for the Dublin International Exhibition of 1865, after which it became part of the Royal University of Ireland and in 1908 replaced by the National University of Ireland.

The historic treaty debates of Dail Eireann in December 1921 & January 1922 - attended by Michael Collins, were held in the Earlsfort Terrace Building. During the 1970's, with the establishment of the new University Campus at Belfield, the building became available for use as the National Concert Hall.
