Ireland's National Concert Hall is located on Earlsfort Terrace - near Stephens Green Dublin. Originally constructed as an Exhibition Hall building for the Dublin International Exhibition of 1865. The Industrial Exhibition was the largest event held in Ireland and happened just two years after the 1851 International Industrial exhibition held in the Crystal Palace, Hyde Park London. The building later became part of the Royal University of Ireland and in 1908 was replaced by the National University of Ireland. ![]() Street scene with baloonist overhead at Earlsfort Terrace & International Exhibition building in 1853.
